The Election is on tomorrow. The Wisconsin Supreme Court overruled Governor Evers decision and in person voting will happen tomorrow as planned. Also, the US Supreme Court overruled the decision to accept ballots after the election. If you are sending in an absentee ballot it MUST be postmarked on April 7th for it to count. It will still be counted if it arrives prior to April 13th but now must be postmarked tomorrow, April 7th.

Be safe, but please do what you can to vote!

L414 is proud to announce our newly promoted Lieutenant and Apparatus Operator. LT Carl Ruegg AO Kevin DeBauche Congratulations gentlemen, and good luck in your new positions.
Lt. Todd Leipzig was awarded "First Responder of the year" for his actions while off duty at the Kenosha Velodrome July 7th, 2019. Lt. Leipzig was bicycle racing with his son when he recognized a man having an apparent heart-attack. The gentleman collapsed to the ground. Lt. Leipzig did a quick assessment to realize this was a cardiac arrest. He initiated CPR, had another team mate call 911. Todd also called Station #5 to expedite Med #5. Med #5 and Engine #5 did arrive shortly thereafter and initiated advance level care. This gentleman did regain a pulse. With treatment and further cardiac interventions he is still alive. Without the quick recognizance, immediate CPR and definitive care, this gentleman would have not have had a successful outcome. Congratulations to Todd and , as always, nice work to the crews of Med 5/Engine5 that day! He was recognized by 64th Assemblyman Tip McGuire for his actions.
